Austin is the original co-founder of Smashworks and a lifelong entrepreneur and content creator. In 2010, Austin launched one of the world’s earliest and largest viral sensations, “Molly The Owl,” a live online broadcast and documentary series that followed a family of wild barn owls. The experience enabled him to pay his own way through college where he studied graphic design, film production, business and programming. He has developed creative work for many leading brands including the San Diego Airport, HP, WD-40 and Harley Davidson. Today, Austin dedicates his time and talent to innovative endeavors, solving problems for clients and developing useful products that help make life easier for other creatives.
Noah has always had an entrepreneurial mindset - creating his first company and passion project, “Lipstick Surf Co.” with help from Austin when he was just 13-years-old. Since then, he has focused on producing high-quality content for brands including Hurley, Monster Energy and HP. Responsible for operations and marketing, Noah now uses his unique experience in content creation and production to capture and share the compelling story of Smashworks.
Like the rest of the Smashworks team, Parker got an early start in entrepreneurial endeavors. Before co-founding Smashworks, Parker directed and produced a feature-length film, Sunny Side Up, when he was just 21. The surf film sold out local theatres and quickly established Parker as a force in the action sport creative industry. Since then, Parker’s easily distinguished motion graphics and visual effects presence has made him a go-to for creative campaigns for clients including Reef, Volcom and Hurley. He now applies his keen understanding of industry needs to his position overseeing product development efforts for Smashworks.
As CEO, Brad leads Smashworks’ business efforts so that the founders can stay focused on designing products that help creatives do their jobs better. Brad is a serial entrepreneur with over 35 years of international senior management and founding experience in a range of startups in the automotive, real estate development and technology industries. He has served as board member and executive advisor for many other emerging growth ventures. Schlachter holds a business degree from the University of Texas and has been featured in Forbes, Inc. Magazine and other business publications.
